Debbie’s Staffing is recruiting for a Warehouse Picking Associate for our client located in Kings Mountain, NC!
Description: The primary function of this position is to identify, locate, and pick customer orders from storage racks, apply appropriate labels and stickers, & scan cases into inventory database.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am-2pm however must be able to work up to 10 hour shifts. Weekend work including Saturday and/or occasional Sundays may also be required.
Pay: $16/hr plus $2 differential on weekends. Weekly Pay! Temp to Hire!
Essential Functions:

• Communication with the staging desk to acquire batch orders and ensure correct labels.
• Utilization of pick to light equipment and software to complete batch request for customers.
• Navigation of the picking department as needed to determine the correct location for products on the batch orders.
• Read and scan SKU’s of the appropriate items as directed by the PTL screen or from PTSR.
• Correctly identify flow rack and product location needed to select product as requested by customer batch orders.
• Remove empty cartons from flow racks, pull down full cartons, verify SKU’s, location and garments and rubber band box flaps.
• Identify items that are out of stock and record shortages in PTL.
• Identify out of stock items, check overflow racks, mark PTSR with dot for shortages and document the carton labels as required.
• Cases seal cartons and place on shipping conveyor in the designated location.
• Secure all assigned equipment daily.
• Fill out all daily documentation associated with the picking process.
• Other duties as assigned

Successful Candidate Qualifications:

• Must be able to walk for long periods of time for 8 hours.
• Must be able to stand, bend, reach up to 18”, pinch, grasp, turn and twist.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push/pull up to 30lbs.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English as it related to the job and to the safety regulations.
• Must be able to process basic math computations.
• Must be able to learn to use the equipment required to complete picking tasks.
• Must have attention to detail, and work well with other departments and individuals.
• Must wear all required PPE and safety gear.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
